It's been days since i struggled over the thoughts.

A normal person starts his/her day at 8am in the morning and end works at 5pm or 6pm. (or sometimes work overtime till about 8 or 9pm.) Earns about $3000/month. Leads a normal lifestyle.

Me? I belong to the "Normal" Catergory just minus the fact that my pay is not that level yet. yes unfortunately. Here i am in my very comfortable zone yet challenging myself with the "is this what i really want?" question. Funny isnt it?

I slogged my days away trying to excel in my work and struggle to juggle between school and work. Just like some of my peers. But i know this is not what i want. It's not an exiciting lifestyle that i want. Not the glamarous and fun life that i looked forward. In fact, it's completely the opposite of what i'm looking forward.

I know i need a change. But like anyone out there, i'm afraid of changes. I'm afraid of instability. Im afraid of rocking the boat when all seems to be okay now.

I struggle to sort my thoughts out, to lay my points out and decide on what i really want. And i finally decided to take this chance. It's a turning point, and i've finally decided to take this chance and put away the worries that i have in mind. It's a chance to shorten my route to achieve my goals. Yes i know i want it. It's calling out to me. Yes i know i will change my future to a better one.

But before today, I was helpless. I can't seems to have the enough courage to step out of this comfort zone. All i want is the courage and support that i can have from whatever forces.

But now, i'm clear of what i want. My direction is determine and i am going to make it happen. It's gonna be doubly good. It's going to be towards a better future.

I am going to make it happen. And im looking forward to gathering the fruits of my labour.

I have faith.

I want to plan well for my future, but i want to enjoy the flexibility.

Nobody has the answer to everything, except him/them/it from above.
We got to try in order to know the outcome and result.

Today i learnt something new.

He told me "It's better to have tried and failed then to regret not trying"

It's better to have love and fail then to regret not loving at all.
It's better to have try working hard towards our future then to not try at all.

The ride to the plot of field was a short but memorable one. It makes me understand that you meant it afterall. You were serious about building the future together.

I don't know if the time is right. And i guess you don't know as well.
But i guess im ready to take the risk together with you. But this should not be a burden to you at all. It should be something we both look forward to and not burden to anyone of us.

I've told you my stand, i'll rather delay all the current plans we have then to have you giving up the chance of entering into the new walk that you may embark. For i know you longed for this and i trust your capability.

Let's hold our hands tight and pray for the best and nature will take it course.

Plans will work out, which ever path we take. It's just a matter of distance.

I tendered.
It was not an easy desision to be made.
But after much thought, i reckon that opportunity as such doesn't come by easy.

I did not have any intention to change a new environment since I'm like starting school real soon, but it just came to me!
Why do I want to give up staying in my comfort zone? The place that I'm working at now is a great place, my manager is someone who genuiely wants to help. He's truely a Mr nice guy. My council are nice people, whom are supportive. What more I get to play with lil Jenna every morning. Feed e pretayyy kois in e pond! Why do I want to move out of this much comfort zone?

I found e answer to my own question. We have to move on. Advance further. Accept new challenges.
The new offer seems too good for me to reject. But with higher power comes greater responsibility.

There are so many things I want to do in life but circumstances don't allow. If I have money I will choose to cheer all my life. Full time cheerleader.sounds good?

Life is filled with decisions to be made, you gain some u lose some! Can't have best of both worlds! How true! I want to go Florida, I wan to be part of a international comp once more, I want to do what I love most, I want to live for my passion! But I don't have the courage to give up every other things in life.

You can have endless wants but face it .. You can't fulfil all of them.

Hey this is life!

reminiscing cheerdays

Cheerobics is round the corner and i'm sorta emoing over cheer. HAH.

Emilyc pop by and we had a long chat earlier (yeahh at my office HA). Cheer was considered our life back then in poly. We spend majoirity of our time cheering and stunting. The people in there makes a great deal in my life.

After lunch, i had this random thought to log in to my rusty friendster account and saw these photos. It really brought back truck loads of memories. Both good and bad. Sweet & Bitter.

Without cheer, i guess my life will be dull. i've been wanting to continue stunting, cheering, dancing and performing. If time permits and if i can find a place where i belong.

When we had our first public performance, @ Boon Lay Countdown 2007. It was the first time i had fluffly ribbons on my hair, it's my first public cheer performance. And i was uber exicited about it.

I seriously thought i was damn cool back then. HAHAHA (i know it's just a extension!)

Without Cheer, i won't not have the chance to travel to another country with my beloved teammates. It was fun, eggciting and totally fruitful. We stretched, train, jumped, fly, stunt like no tomorrow. Yet we still continue with the SHOPPING after every day of hard training. We had trashing session to clear misunderstanding, there were tears and all, but i know, we stand stong as a team then. Ps: I will never forget how xiang begged me to massage her back after a long day at training.

Moving on, we had to improve our skills. Jen was my partner stunt base most of the time. I can say we achieve quite a number of stunts together. Both our first attempt. We didn't purposely pair up, but just so that everytime we were just put together to stunt. :) From Extension, to Liberty to Heel Stretch and subsequently to Bow & Arrow ( it's a great sense of acomplishment for me back then)

We had like photoshoot session to create our very own magnum port folio. Which was awesome. Simply cause we love to cam whore!

Despite the busy training schedule and endless projects in school, we met up regularly to have a good tan. (it's been donkey years since i tan! )

When i felt a strong sense of belonging when i am with them...

Where i train and prepare for my very first cheer competition. We eat, sleep, train , cheer, cry, laugh... we did EVERYTHING together!

Back in those days, i had fun opportunity to take part in fun events. Such as Monsoon event. Let the new stylist play with our hair, take some photos, and get free hair cut ect. Haha!

The first KISMIS stay was U-N-F-O-R-G-E-T-A-B-L-E. We cooked and shared, we help eachother wash and hang e laundry. We clean and mop the house. it was FUN FUN FUN! I still remember it was then i got uber close with Ong AMY cos i slept beside her for like 1 whole month? (*Blush*) haha!

I thought we were good, but things didnt turn out the way we wanted... but i guess it build a team still.. :)

Cheering is not just simply cheering, but it's another form of attachment that one would never feel if you are not part of us. I'm not sure if other feel the same way as i do, but i guess it's probably because of Magnum Cheer Team that i felt this so strong.

Politics, quarrels, tears is never avoidable. But the bond and commitment we had back then turns into joy and precious memories which overwrites the negative sides. I've never regret what i've been through and if i ever had to make a choice again, I know this will still be the path that i would take.

I hope this sports can grow and make it even more glamourous then before! Let there be more commited cheerleaders :)

I would love to continue cheering if given the time one day. This passion is gonna be inside me for the rest of my life.

I am very sure of it.

Am finally back from my short getaway with baby!

3days 2 night in Batam.

Baby went for massage for like 3 days in a row! HAHA! he's in a total relax mode.

I went massage for 1st and 2nd day, 3rd say was Manicure & pedicure.

Merry was so nice to picked me up from habor front center when i told her i waited for an hour for a darn cabbie! :D She sent baby home then me! Thanks M!

I dare to swear that she's the best girlfriend i ever met. Thou she also scold me at times! haha!

I think if i was ever a lesbian who wants to get married, i will probably get married to her cos we prob can accommodate to each other well. haha! JOKE!

Nothing much to shopped but i still brought back truck loads of food such as: indomie MEE GORENG! ! and erhem, sanitary pads are dirt cheap there!

Muahahaha!

I am so going to hit the sacks now!

baby said i am going to china with him next week, omg omg! i am totally so exicited! but i guess i shall hold the excitement till all is confirmed! I wonder if my leave will be approved. hmmm..

What is enjoying life?

Finally met the cheer girls after a gazillon years of planning, and guess what, the theme for the day was GOLD BLUE and WHITE! :D like what xiang said, "of the colors we use to share" awesome tagline.

I swear we made a hell load of noise while queuing up at Coffee Club, cam-whoring all night long and busy catching up with each other.

Can you believe it, we exchanged namecards. It felt funny, it feel as though we've moved on the the next stage in life. Indeed we did.

It took me a while to warm up before getting high together with the rest, guess it's been a long long time since we hang out together. We use to see each other like Mon Wed Fri Sat. from 6pm-11pm. And almost 24hrs for some of us during competition period.

Can't believe that i had such great energy then. Working life is totally a bitch.

I still enjoy meeting up with them, if time permits, i wish we could meet up more often. Well, at least we try to organize outings, and we're sort of like automatic volunteer to organize and coordinate with each other. I didn't do much for this outing thou, i practically just attend. haha, but hey i was in BLUE! (dong mei and alice from another PINK team) *point to both of them* HAHA!

I asked myself, when will be the next meet up session. :)

Very often in life you forget Lil' things that you use to appreciate. No doubt it's important to work hard to earn big bucks, doing things that you truly enjoy will enable you to go further.

I enjoy a cheeky all girls outing, i enjoy a drinking session with nsf, i enjoy hunting for nice food together with baby, i enjoy bringing my family out for dinner.

I enjoy L4D session with the usual, i enjoy cooking whenever i feel like, i enjoy blogging but i am lazy, i enjoy traveling, i enjoy hanging around and interacting with people.

I am a playful girl, easily affected by other people's temperament. Hence i need to work in a happy enviroment with positive flow of energy?

What do you recommend?

When you were 14 years old, you worked for extra cash just to add another piece of clothing to your pathetic wardrobe.
When you were 16 years old, you worked cos you just ended "Os" and need more money for shopping and dining with your friends ( and maybe some more neoprints )
When you were 18 years old, you worked because you need to buy that laptop for your poly, and your clubbing expenses, your chillax expenses.
When you were 20 years old, you are still working for that additional income so that you can go Bangkok to shop till you dead.
When you were 21years old and totally finished poly, you worked to pay your bills and give pathetic "allowance" to mum, you worked to save for that stupid degree program and you worked because everyone else work after they finish education.

You know you are working for the sake of working, you know you have to find something that you'll enjoy, you know that you need to support yourself because there is aint going to be any more pocket money coming in every week.

You can wish that you were born rich, so that you can travel around the world like it's taxi from Jurong to Changi, you wished that you can go overseas studies because simply you can afford it and that you got nothing better to do, you wished that your boyfriend owns a helicopter so he can drive you around, you wished that you can party your nights away.

The wishlist goes on and on, but hey dude, it's reality...

Sometime back , baby and i went shopping (cos i need to finish up those birthday vouchers)
Before heading to town we went to have our simple lunch at RongLiang, just footstep away from his house.

Our all time favorite i would say.

The food sold here are definitely value for money and we could just eat this everyday :D I still remember when i was studying in Ngee Ann, we often take-away this and head back home for lunch watching Animal planet or discovery channel.

Noodles is a good choice too..

Wanted to get some clothes for lazy days, but i couldn't make up my mind as to how to spend my vouchers, wanted to spend it on food(yes again) but baby didn't want me to.. So end up spend it on a hair brush and a dress.

Baby bought me cookies! HoHoHo!

Dinner was at soup spoon, aw.. i totally can smell the minestrone soup now.. Am feeling so hungry now.. i wish i can have a warm bowl of soup right infront of me!

Eating with him is always blissful (thou sinful as well, cos we eat alot!) but i guess we share the joy of eating and i totally enjoy nice food with him around.

I promise i will try to exercise with u as much as possible.. hehe..

It's been 27th month. It's no longer like the initial phrase of falling in love. We have grown pretty comfortable and have totally let our guards down when we're together.

Sometimes i complain about the lack or surprises, or the lack of something new. Yes yes, i know i always complain, but that makes me a girl.
Sometimes i feel things are TOO peaceful between the 2 of us.

It's October! Mid Autumn Event at one of my estate is finally OVER!! im glad they had fun! but im uber tired! Kids are really hard to handle and it's so not easy being a EMCEE :(

Went for a wedding Lunch earlier on, My cousin's wedding, and i'm going to LH for their Mid Autumn Fest in a short while! The council invited me over to celebrate with them! How nice! :D the fact that i was only stationed on site for a month.

Heading to baby's hse ltr on! We're going to MELAKA TMR !! :D it's a day trip thou but im sure it's gonna be fun! His aunties and all are driving so we're tagging along.

The weather is so nice today, so cold, so cozy... so wanna tug in bed!

i finally got my driving license after X amount of tries! HAHHA!

the fact that i passed my driving test made baby 100x more happy then me, don't know why! He even wanna REIMBURSE my driving test fee this time round! haha so cute right!

So im like so happy cos i passed my test and my boyfriend would love to sponsor the cost! So should i take up this awesome offer or should i be nice to just get 50% subsidy?

HEHEHE! i'll decide later!

Accident at my estate

a long long hectic weekend!

finished driving on Saturday at abt 12pm, went to petrol station to grab a bite and headed my way to DECS trg.

"ring ring" handphone rang.
One of my chairman in my estate called.

he said" hi serena, there was an accident at XXXXX, there was an explosion"
me :" EXPLOSION?!
He" yes, 4 person was injured, P & W badly injured, SCDF, Fire engines, Ambulances have arrived"
me: "OK! I'll be there in a short while"

Rang boss up and told him the situation, i guess he was !!! also.

It's my 3rd mth at work and this was indeed some hugeass stuff i never thought i would have encounter.

Rushed down to estate, and saw area cordon up.
Bosses are there, councils member there too. P & W sent to hospital.

Helped with the aftermath. Gathered information, rang up structural engineers, BCA, insurer, service provider ect.

It was found to be a gas leakage that cause the explosion, but don't know where is the exact source.

PowerGrid sent people and started excavating. Dig and dig.. from 2pm? to 2am still cannot find!

Was there with my 2 bosses the whole time and only left the estate at abt 2am.

Baby surprised me with a apple pie! :D It was our monthsary and we cant spend it tog :( so he had to came all the way from the west to east to pass me the apple pie! heh!

After i left at abt 2am, joined baby @ eastcoast for his event. and only managed to catch some sleep at 6am in the morning.

Sunday was also a day at work.
Woken up by a call from the guards and all, updating me abt the investigation and stuff.
Headed back to office in the noon and came out with a circular to inform all residents that all is okay now...

Cab to estate, distributed circular and back down to MGS for trg..

Was so tired today, that i practically slept my whole day away... still feeling letatgic. =(

Time flies! We was 13 back then. now we are all going into the TWENTIESSSSS.

It's been a while since like 4 of us gather, apple should hand out with us more, cos it's just fun having her around. We just never fail to laugh!

First it was minmin's then my celebration.. then it was xiang.. followed by AMES!

Only managed to squeeze 30 into cyn's car!

Xiang & i had a hard time taming those balloons! HAHAHA! It was super funny cos one naughty balloon will pop up and fly towards cyn. Xiang will go.. " guai ah guai ah" and Gasp the balloon down. Hehe!

It's been a long time since i last saw everyone at DECS.
Had so much fun chilling out with them!

Action city sure have alot of cute stuff! Dion was so funny, he took this "atomic bomb" alarm clock and acted as thou it's gonna explode anytime soon! I was laughing like mad !

we were like shaking the machine so hard ! :P so fun!

Weicai, Zhijun, Dion, Crystal & i headed to Dempsy to chill out after that.

saw this super huge fish!!! apparently it was said to be illegal? Is it?

Settled down @ PS cafe, nice ambience but we were like all talking a tad too loud! LOL!

I love the tea there! I can even drink it without adding anything! it does not give you the sourish after taste! im so going back there soon!

We was there all the way from 10ish to around 1am? Woah! Darren came to pick ZJ up so i hitched a ride back home! :D thanks darren!

for some reason, baby prefer 18.07.09, and that's why we celebrated our 2nd anniversary on 18th july instead of the noted date, 19th july. HA.

i only managed to catch a nap for abt 1hr or so the night before because i was touching up on the surprise that i planned for him. I was editing the video and stuff. headed to work at 7.30am cos i had to stand in @ lakeholmz.

Rushed home @ 1pm and grabbed all the stuff to make Spaghegtti bolognese for baby! He was still lazing in bed when i called him at abt 3pm can!
Prepared the projector,candles and stuff and was awaiting his arrival! HAHA! guess he was caught off guard when he entered the room! :D and i know he love the montage and was super touched!! am so proud of myself!

Then, he told me we're going out for a walk, but when prompt where to he simply refuse to disclose anything. so i was like.. HURRY! i wanna know where! but he refused.

So i simply follow him to where ever he take me too.. i fell asleep in the car so i didnt know where was i when i reached.
We reached this cozy lil' cafe/resturant/eating house in serangoon!

They serve AWESOME french food @ affordable pricing! If im not wrong, the cook is a french!

I'm like totally in love with the foie gras. AWESOME. it just melts in your mouth! awwww.. the taste will linger ! woo! *salivates*

after that, seeing that i was really tired due to the lack of sleep, baby suggested making our way home. BUT! didn't want him to be upset, i suggested going to walk around, but he just kept quiet. THEN... i fell asleep AGAIN. and suddenly baby was like!! WAKE UP WAKE UP! SEE SEE FIREWORKS!! following a loud BOOMM! BOOOM! haha! I was shocked! but super exicited! so like a lil' kid i was turning around to catch the fireworks in the car.

Guess what we did? We chased after the fireworks! LOL all the way till Marina Bay.. Then i was like, since we're so near, let's go barrage!
So baby said okay!

When we reached Marina Barrage, alot of people was leaving the place ( guess all was there to watch fireworks). The substainable gallery or smth like that was sitll open when we arrived so we popped in to have a look!

We are pointing to the estate that we're staying. What about yours? (:

Because the lighting was really good... HAHA! we decided to cam whore abit! :P

There was this phototaking place with green screen so we started messing around with it! LOL they actually sent us an email with our picture!! Damn FUNNYYYY!

Afterthat, we headed to the roof terrace.

Found a spot and sat down, then baby was like, oh shit, i have a bad tummy ache. so he said he needed to go toilet. then i was like -_-" huh... okay then. and i started snapping away like no tomorrow. It took him like 5-10min to go toilet lor! Just when i was about to call him, he appear at the corner of my eye holding a kite and a red picnic basket!

I WAS OVERJOYED!
IT WAS A SURPRISE!!

I hurriedly opened the basket and found a lunchbox filled with ICY COLD FRUITS!! Apple cubes, My fav cherries & strawberries neatly placed into a Heart shape! :D :D

I have no idea how he kept the fruits cold cos he came over to my place in the late afternoon without holding anything. (well, later on i realised, he kept them in a ice box! so all along he planned this!)

Flew kite, chit chat, ate fruits. i had a simply & lovely celebration. :D

28.06.09 MJL @ Flea Titan. It was so so so stuffy! the aircon was totally not working, or maybe not hard enough! had a hard time lugging all our brangs to our stalls due to the many many steps in the bldg itself! :( :( nonetheless, we'll like to thank all our lovelies for their support! :D

it was also Apple's finals of Xing Guang Da Dao PK 5. But someone had to mend the stall as we paid for it alrdy, so merry went ahead to support her, didn't take much photo thou. Still waiting to see the video of her performance.
Thou she didnt get into the top 3 to represent singapore to taiwan for the PK, i believed she did well! It's wasn't easy getting a stand in the top 20 finalist of the PK.

i'm so blessed to have a boyfriend who dotes on me alot.

baby finished exam and he is back to the usual loving self.

a good dinner, a lil' retail therapy together once in a while with baby makes me a happy girl.

I love QUALITY time.

And i finally understand what does absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Because of the lack of time together, we'll make up with more quality time together.
It feels so much like when we're just in love. haa.

baby, it's so long since we went shopping and walking around aimlessly.
i am very blessed and very happy today. even thou it's a simple gesture of showing me you love me. thank you for offering help to make a change in my life and my home. because that really meant alot to me. hugsss!

"So what are you doing lately?"
"Working?"
"What you intend to do?"

I often reply, slacking, taking a break, enjoying life.

No doubt all the above are true. But guess what? i just realized that I'm actually working very hard. I just completed by "work" 2 mins ago, and it's not fully completed. I am going to wake up and continue the last part.

I am working hard, and hoping for the best.
I am still contemplating if i should start a full time job.
Pros & cons.

I have till my saving runs dry to decide. ( which is actually very soon, like this month or next month, sadly)

i am not working, but doesn't mean i'm not progressing in life.

I'm learning how to cook. Trying out more dishes and stuff.
I'm learning how to run a business, a mini one, but i am trying.
What else am i doing?

I cant think of it now, but i am very sure i am not 100% idle .
I am doing stuff, just at my own pace.

but the setback is no income, no savings, no contribution to family.
Give me some more time. I promise if everything i'm trying to do fail, i will stop dreaming and continue the path that everyone takes.

I hope with hard work everything goes on smoothly.
so i can satisfy all my needs and ~~some~~ wants.

I am looking forward to G's and my Holiday in July, i cannot wait for it to come, but i have to really start finding $$. Thou the destination is not confirmed yet, but i just want to travel!
but but but..... H1N1 is serious now isn't it? hmmmm...

well, 1 more month to decide on where to go and all.

I guess life is full of many things that you are not able to fulfilled.

have you ever look at pictures and wished that you could be like the people in the pictures?

have you ever felt that it's something that you feel you'll enjoy doing?

i can dream on and on, but it's not gonna be fulfilled no matter how hard i try.
because right from the start i do not fit the bill.

i can go on dreaming for the rest of my life and i will soon realize, everything shall remain as a dream and nothing else.

i guess there is always a limitation to everything that we want to do, and sometimes you are not able to fight the limitation, but most of the time you can.

so i have to look for something that i know i can fight the limitation and excel in.

chasing the train

sometimes you ask yourself if you see yourself doing something you love 10 years down the road.
sometimes you ask yourself if you even have a stand in the whole picture.
sometimes you wonder, if putting in effort is all worth it in something that you know is impossible to achieve.

there are somethings in life that once you hit a certain time of your life, it's really hard for you to go back to square 1 and try, where as people are already way in front of you.

it's like chasing after a train that you've missed and the rest of the passengers are already on board the train. How to win the race? How to even catch up with the train?
By running damn fast, do you think it's really possible?

yes it is, some might say, maybe because you're the passengers on the train, thats why you feel that it's possible. Try be the one running after the train.

It's possible, but how long can your stamina last? How long can you endure? Do you really think one can run faster then a train? maybe a bullet train?

It's unfair for runners to start at different point of the track, say one at the starting point, one at the next 200 meters, but both of your ending point is the same.

but yea, like what people always say, life is never fair.

so should i even waste my time trying and fighting when i know this is a task that is impossible?
or when i feel that the judge will just shut off after the first person reached the finishing line?

It's not that i never try, but it's sometimes just too late.

sometimes it's even easier to get the train to chase after people, it's way way way faster! right?

I want to remember this something that i love as a beautiful thing, as a happy thing, as a enjoyable issue. Not the waste of energy, efforts, and pain that is being compared to running together with a train.

It's disheartening, and it's demoralizing.

well, it's always better to stay in something that your good in that something that you are way below isn't it? Maybe one day i will find something else that i'll excel in.

Sometimes one should learn to move on. :)

cheerobics ended

Cheerobics ended once again.

It's my 3rd try at Cheerobics but this time i didnt achieve my target. Maybe is because of this that makes me want to fight even harder.

Cheerleading in Singapore had definitely evolved through the years, more teams, more amazing stunts, creative transition and gymnastics.

i love cheer and im still going to continue fighting hard towards my goal.
it's not going to stop here, i've concluded.
it's a undying passion and it had become part of me. :)

i admit i teared when they announced magnum as champion! guess that's how much a magnum force cheerleader will always feel for magnum force. :) even though we're wearing different uniform competing for other teams now, but we were all from MAGNUM FORCE.

Like what miss leong said, it's so happy to see the sports growing, even if it's everyone in different uniform! It's just like a super huge magnum reunion! from seniors to juniors!

Congrats go MGS dazzlers for getting 2nd!
and not forgetting the defending champion for secondary sch category, MG SIZZLERS! :)

As for DECS, no trophy, no medal, but i met new people, people like Cavan, Nabs, Xavier and Kong, This is our first year, and i believe in many more new exiciting things to learn and take part together in the path ahead!

We made a team, and it's because of this nationals that i finally felt like i'm part of DECS, part of a new team, part of a new begaining.

I want to keep the momentum running, i don't want to stop.
At least not now.

I want to thank many people, people who are always supporting me no matter what the outcome is, NSF, Merry, Hweepeng, my family, my teammates,MG sizzlers, and of cos my dearest .

He's always there for me when i end training late, always there for me to listen to my complain, always there for me to hear me whine, always there for me to fetch me back home when it's late, always there to help DECS, always there to motivate me, always there running around with darren to help DECS with competition stuff.

Thank you baby, for being such a understanding boyfriend this past few weeks, for able to sacrifice your sleep for me, for being able to love me even more and stand by me all this while.
i really appreciate whatever that you have did for me and i do know that you love me to bits. :)

These few days had been meeting Emily up to prepare some food for our team.
it's a simple gesture by us to show that we care and to hype everyone up!

We prepared pasta, fishballs, eggs, hotdogs ect for them. haha!

It's not easy to drag yourselves down training after ( work/army/study) but still we managed to pull it through.

It's not easy to find a common time for everyone to be there and to start training on time, but we still made the best out of the very lil' time we have.

I miss magnum, like seriously.

i read through my 2007 archive and all the flashback started playing at the back of my head.
i miss training together with my girls, miss going for suppers at the market and restrict myself to only taw huay ( bean curd) because we need to stay on a healthy diet!

I miss celebrating our BEST CHEERLEADER OF THE MONTH, and i miss singing birthday songs for magnies babies.

I miss stunting with Jen, he was my partner stunt base since like the boonlay countdown performance till nalts and stuff. I miss Andra tossing me high up in the sky, i miss Zhiliang always catching me when i fall, i miss Shaun and his blur blur face when he move to his wrong position, i miss Lenny's motivating voice when we try and try but still cannot get it. I miss Citra's exaggerating expression, i miss Eeling comforting pat, i miss Yujing's slap on my shoulder saying JIAYOU MEIQIAN, I miss eating those sweet snacks that Xiang,Cyn and Peishi smuggle in for us during kismis stay. i miss Sue, Xiang,Cyn,Pei,Emilyy and all running around to get things done for us and doll us up during nationals. i miss i miss.....

i miss training with these people so dearly.

I miss kisimis stay, cooking for my roommates and shouting at them to clear the tables.
i miss cleaning up the dirty old flat before we move in and i miss groceries shopping together.
i miss seeing everyone fighting hard and striving towards the same goal.

My Ngee Ann Days. all over.

went to my routine checkup at NUH dentistry.

took bus 74 at dover sub conciously, alighted at Ngee Ann Poly.

and suddenly realised i no longer need to rush to lesson after dental appointment anymore.
suddenly realised i no longer need to attend magnum training in ngee ann anymore.
suddenly realise im out of ngee ann.
suddenly feel so lost and aimless.

Walked to NP Library and headed straight to the cafe ( my usual routine during study days)
everything remains the same except for the fact that i no longer see firmilar faces sitting around the cafe, except for the uncle and auntie at the bubble tea counter.

:(

This recent 3 years of my life, Ngee Ann have practically turned into my 2nd home.

I study, i hang around with my class mates, we formed notsofunni, i started magnum, i train hard, i went for nationals, i organised camps, i attend camps, I got scolded my Lenny for forgetting my dance steps. Dion taught me gymnastics, i stayed in Kismis and then the newly renovated the loft. i met a wonderful group of girls through my cca, SSCians always supporting me, I became president of mf, i struggled to manage my time, i went overseas for competiton, i went bangkok for exchange programe, topgun came over for exchange, i pon tan classes, ring up hongyi for last min revision, tried hard to book the library proj room before exams, i research for my grad trip, i met gerard, i got into a relationship. and the list goes on and on...

so much so much memories during these few years in Ngee Ann.

Good and bad, it's all over. and i'm feeling so sad all of a sudden.

the past few weeks after exams, i did not feel what im feeling right now.
maybe i've been busy with preparing for birthdays, grad trip, training at Decs, huayi's speech day that took away the emo-ness.

is today that all the emotion started gushing out, maybe becos i had nothing on hand to do today, no training, no huayi, no work. Feeling aimless.

我不喜欢离别的感决。

i am sitting in the library and feeling damn emo now.
but i know it's time to move on.

receive a sms by a friend this morning warning me about possible terrorist attack at bugis area these few days.

was skeptical about the MSG initially but still decided to play safe and forwarded to some people.

just a few min ago, bro told me that it was a HOAX cos that guy got caught!

so just ignore the sms if i had forwarded it to you earlier on.

did a search and found the news paper article online.

as i was working on my laptop, the sweet scent of roses float pass me.
reminding me of the sweet boyfriend that i have. :)

this valentine, we decided not to celebrate elaborately.
however it was still a simple valentine with a trace of sweetness.

Baby came with lunch in the afternoon on 14th feb and sent me to MGS for training soon after we gobbled down the lunch.
Bought him a DKNY be delicious (for men) and surprise him after lunch, he was pretending to be angry because we agreed on not preparing anything this valentine's. So he "refuse" to accept my gift. LOL. but of cos he did la eventually.

Hopped onto his car and i was busy meddling with my toenail ( yes indeed very UNGLAMOROUS) and i was still thinking, why this baby is taking so long and refuse to start the engine, so was about to turn back and yell " baby.....AHHHHH" i screamed.

In front of me was a bouquet of roses neatly wrapped up. For a moment i was shocked. Haha! but indeed SURPRISE SURPRISE!

(see luckily i prepared a gift for him else I'll be feeling so bad!)

Although it's a old trick but it still caught me unprepared! (cos he hid his bouquet of flowers at the back seat without me knowing last valentine and caught me unprepared)
He bought me a heart shape shortbread :) ( ignore the mini choco heart that broke)

Baby, even thou this valentine was a really simple one, i am really happy with your little gesture that warms my heart. Though we had a bad experience at Sake and we didn't even get to eat whatever we set out to initially. I really won't mind sitting with you in a waffle cafe doodling away. Nothing fanciful, just the both of us lazing around in a small cafe eating those lil' snacks.
Febuary is always the busy month for celebration.
I'm looking forward to our next Valentine's Love.

am sick for many many days.
had taken so many pills.
had miss a few trainings.

BQC test, FYP and all. but finally it's over.

I really hope everything at home can be smooth. So i won't have to keep adding on to my worries.

it's really taxing to carry these burdens all on me.

today, i wake up, feeling aimless and helpless.

Now, i'm always emoing about my family.

Now, i am taking year 3 module and struggling through FYP.
Now, i'm thinking about my future.
Now, i'm thinking what kind of carrer path will suit me?

Am aching badly from yesterday's training. :(

left trg early and headed to help mum with some stuff, then went to do last min shopping for Reunion dinner foodstuff. Sheng Siong was like CROWDED.

I did 2 very brave things ytd.

1. Pack my own Zhu Gan ( Pig Liver) cos the guy refuse to help me take, so i had to "choose" it on my own.

2. Manage to pick up 2 alive and kicking fish in a plastic bag ( so gross) for some fresh steam fish for reunion dinner.

okay, might not be brave for whoever is reading it. But i swear if you go try it yourself you know it's damn smellyyuckydirtygrossy. LOL. the smell is like..WOOHOO. esp when i went to the meat area. I guess its due to the crowd, so everything was abit messy.

But still very proud of myself, feel like i'm becomming more and more " woman". Can you guys imagine how our mummy went thru all this shopping for food and cook for us? OMG.
*CLAP CLAP*

Was home the whole day today, (CNY eve)! Really worked my ass off the whole day, luckily i had baby with me.

Washed the whole kitchen, scrub off all the "shits"! Luckily baby was around to help me with the chores. Baby headed home for dinner after helping me with the cleaning and i started helping daddy and mommy with the reunion dinner preparation.

had so much food on the table that we can't finished!

Then was REUNION DINNER. Lao Hei, Steamboat, Steamfish, You Cai, Prawns, Shun. What a spread ! :D

Had fun eating with my family, cos it's one of the rare chances everyone gets to sit down and have a good dinner together.

This CNY i just hope my family will stay harmoniously together, happy and healthy.

I hope to graduate from NP with a increased GPA, i dont wish for more, just perhaps at least hit a GPA of 3? haha!

Hope to find out what i want in life, what do i want as my carrer.

Hope i can excel in things i set to do..

going back to places that we first hang out together really bring back loads of memories.

baby, thou i didn't show it out, but im really happy to be eating porridge with you at the same old place.
Been with Gerard for like 18th months and there are ups and downs, i treasure the times that we spend together and appreciate the effort he make in making me happy.

example1: always letting me decide on what to eat.

example2: always staying by my side when i'm busy with my stuff.

i treasure him, and i love him.

At times i struggle to strike a balance, but i know he's equally trying to find the balance too.
thou i always throw tantrum, i hope he understand that i'm already trying to tone down quite abit. i do hope that he can see my effort..

School have started for him and i really hope i can be there to encourage him and give him the extra support he need to concentrate on studies as well as work.

just some random thoughts before i sleep.

The second game was TABOO cards with a twist. Lol, we used taboo cards but we cannot describe, but only using drawing to describe to our team mates, not allowed to skip cards too!

Damn funny, cos we will divided into grp A and B, and they formed a "team" call SLANT HEAD. ( ya dion's idea again!)

Baby ended work early ytd and we headed home to rest. We were supposed to nap for a while but we slept from like 3plus to 7pm! LOL. then headed to Jurong point for dinner and to shop arnd the EXPANDED JP! COOL!

it was so crowded at JP2 so we walked back to the old JP and settled our dinner at Benten Cafe.

hmmm... Benten was alright, but i still prefer Waraku. hmmm.
thinking of waraku makes me super hungry! aww.

gonna end work soon then go for driving, hopefully can improve my U turn.

gota come back to school after driving, meet the grpmates and discuss some proj stuff and head to Mr tan's hse. hope everything will be good ! :D

Was supposed to meet up with Kaiyann and Xiang but last min ky couldn't make it, so we got to postpone it.
Stayed home all day surfing the web, went out for a late lunch with mum and bro.
Headed home and cook dinner tog with mum, Aint much of a help anyway. I tried to cook butter prawns but i failed!! T.T didnt actually failed but i feel that it's not nice at all! LOL. so i seek daddy's help and he turn the "not-so-nice-plate-of prawn" into delicacy! All he did was just to add soya sauce and abit of garlic and ginger. How did he do it? tell me abt it. He's the best cook ever! :D love his cooking. Baby came over to have dinner with us and we brought Mummy to IMM.
Shopped arnd and i bought a Standing Mixer from GIANT! woohoo.
Baby sent mum home 1st and both of us headed for supper. Then Home sweet home after that.

WOW. time flies.

i know im a lazy bumber and i refuse to blog.

so much things happened in the month of december! (and more to come!)

i attended wedding, studied for commontest, had driving lessons, did xmas shopping, watched movie, played boardgames, had MJ session, MOBtv-ED,went for dental appointment ( i got my mould done! yayness! means i should be able to remove my braces real soon!)

REI & REF was okay, i guess i would be able to pull it through with my last min revision =X as usual. BQC was a disaster. i have no idea what i was writing on the answer script, and i stared at the question paper for like 30min, without writing anything! ohmygosh! so in the end i just scribble on whatever that i think is right onto the script. (yes, i totally just copied the formate for Case Base4 on to the script, yes including the figures!!! -_-)

7th December 2008,
was Gerard's 2nd bro wedding day! i had fun snapping away! From the preparation the night before all they way till the end of the event. Awesome experience.

I SIMPLE LOVE ATTENDING WEDDINGS!

Last Monday on the 8th December, Baby went to pick up his bro and his wife from the hotel, then we headed to return their gowns and all. Passed by the army market and baby suggested that we all head down for WAFFLES. (:

I was really happy, cos it's been a long long time since we had the waffles. I think we only had it once over there together, during our first date. haa. it was such a long long long time ago..

The following week was CT, and loads of MOBTV. HAHA despite me doing last min revision i simply cannot resist the temptation of THE LITTLE NONYA. hor kenneth? HAHA. Kenneth is so cute, he msged be the other day " COME OUT TILL 20 LIAO!" haha, he is trying to inform me that new episodes are uploaded to MOBTV. lol!

Straight after CT, i headed to town alone! am so proud of myself! i actually shopped arnd for like 4hours?! non stop! and i saw YEESENG on the way! haha so we tried to shop around together but i guess he kinda regretted after that! haha! cos i take way too long to shop! So he went ahead with his shopping and i went ahead with mine. Oh did i mention, he shopped alone too! AWESOME! it's really fun to do that once in a while. There's a MANGO sale that day so i bought a top and a skirt, and i kept boasting to baby about it. LOL.

Headed to Taka and bought ALOT of food! Takopachi, Japanese fried Noodles, Korean Fries Sausage, ToriQ Bento. . . and waited for baby to pick me! Guess where we had our dinner after that? We drove to a nearby Petrol Station and parked there! LIKE A PICNIC! how fun! Totally enjoyed it! except for the fact that i spilled sauce over my dress :(

Then we headed to Dion's place for MJ, obviously i am not part of the MJ gang, i tried to watch Lil Nonya using Dion's Com but i failed. :( SO SAD! So i went to lie on the sofa and as usual i dozed off! LOL.

Headed home at abt 2plus am? Was so tired that i almost refuse to shower, but i still did. After the shower i was too alert to sleep so i watched Lil Nonya again! While baby was alr fast asleep. The next morning when i told him i watched MOBTV till 4am he was so angry! hahah! The look on his face was classic!

had gym on 13th, sat, and is aching all over till now! bouncing around sure made me ache quite abit! LOL. had fun rolling here and there too. Kinda look forward to next sat again! although scary. ha.

Had lunched at Crystal Jade with Dion Crystal YY Amy and Gerard.
I was making a big fuss over the service difference we receive. No doubt we always say we should not have discrimnation, but guess not everyone can achieve it, and sub conciously it just all shows. But can't be help cos at times we're also like that. Blahh.

Went SETTLERS CAFE @ HV after that but amy had to head home first. The place was rather quiet, we tried quite a few new games. Intially we were all quite stone, at least for me. But after we are pumped up had fun laughing. Although there wasn't much people at that time, they were rather inflexible, didnt even allow us to finish our food while playing . Times up means Times up! Well, guess that's business. So i should not complain so much!

It didnt end here, all of them hand itchy! LOL so this time round i suggested going over to Baby's place to play MJ. So they had MJ and i had MOBTV to accompany me! after MJ we headed to eat and i headed back to baby's place.

14th December 08, Sunday

We're supposed to go shopping! for christmas exchange gift..but in the end we pigged the whole day. I think the only time that we were awake was during Lunchtime and Dinnertime! HAHA!

Baby went to buy my fav XO fish soup from opposite his hse and my Fav French Bean from RongLiang and noodles for his mum and we had lunch together. Then he send his mummy to his uncle's place for MJ while i waited at his place. Actually planned to town after he come back, but he was so sleepy that he lied on the bed and dozed off! So we pigged all the way till 7pm? And headed downstairs to eat with his family. His Auntie and Eldest Bro came back, tog with his dad. So ordered quite abit of dishes. Went West Coast Plaza to walk abit before heading back to his place.

Baby told me that he feel like shopping so he might take half day on Monday, i was actually very happy! I seriously felt that is cause he wanted to bring me arnd to shop that's why he suggested the half day leave, not because he wanted to shop. Thanks honey! appreciated!

Had driving lesson. Haven't been driving for 2 weeks, but still manage to pull it through. Did my first U-turn and my car stored -_-" Booked my TP too! on 6th March 2009. Pray hard that i'll pass on the 1st try. LOL. Gerard kept saying that he have this feeling i will pass on the 1st try. LOL. i think he's just motivating me. Wait till he see me in action he'll think otherwise!

Baby picked me @ clementi at noon and we had lunch with Dion. Happen to see Aishang, Mich & Sinyee, they were attending some cooking lesson? HAha! Headed to town with baby, Shopped and had dinner.
Caught the movie BOLT.AWESOME. i was laughing at the Hamster throughout!! It reminds me of FURBY! : but ohmygosh, RHINO(the hamster in the show) is OH SO CUTE. I think it's an awesome movie that everyone would like! :D

Car ablaze after crash

A CAR caught fire after it crashed onto the guard railing of a road centre divider early on Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old driver was travelling on Ayer Rajah Expressway towards Tuas when his car skidded near the 12.5km mark, veered to the right and smashed into the railing. He managed to escape from the car before the front of it caught fire.
But he suffered serious head injuries and was taken unconscious to the National University Hospital.
In another road accident, a 20-year-old motorcyclist died after his bike crashed along a slip road off the Pan-Island Expressway, leading to Corporation Road.
He was going round a right bend when he lost control of his bike and crashed on Sunday morning.
The motorcyclist, who suffered multiple injuries, was pronounced dead on the spot at 7.05am.
Anyone with information should contact the traffic police at 1800-547-1818.

HYSS Ex 405/ - Malik

Together with Merry, Shinyi, Hweepeng we headed to Malik's place to send our condolences to his family.

His sudden death is something that his dad have yet to accept. I was told that Malik was the person taking care of the dad ever since his mum passed away a year or so ago. Now, he's gone.

The short period of time that we sat down on the floor seems to be the longest awkward silence ever. Images of Malik just flashed across my mind.

Malik was my secondary school classmates, if i remembered correctly, we're in the same class for the 4 years of my Hua Yi Secondary School life. He was a tall sporty guy, the few things that i remembered about him was that he always played soccer, and that funny accent that he used to call my Chinese name.

When i first entered Ngee Ann Poly after retaking O levels, i see Malik around in school. I always see him around the sports complex, when im preparing to go for training i will see him around preparing to start his soccer training also.

I cannot remember when is the last time i saw this friend of mine. If i remembered correctly, earlier this year, we met outside GYMWERKZ and as usual, he use his funny accent to call out my Chinese name.

According to his dad, Malik went out to play soccer earlier that evening and came home for supper with him. Before he went to sleep he still saw Malik at the computer table and he thought that he would be using his computer throughout. So he left for bed first.

The next morning when he woke up, he couldn't find Malik, so he called him, but the Police Officer is already holding on to his mobile phone. And the police officer explained to him what has happened.

Malik's Bike Ski and hit the lamp post and fracture his skull early in the morning along cooperation road.

Apparently, no one knows what Malik went out early in the morning and nobody knows how did he get into an accident.

Mrs Kelly Tan, Miss Joyce Tan and some other ex school mates from Huayi were there at Malik's Place when we arrived. Malik's sister whom came back from Egypt for holidays is weeping by her father's side. Who would have imagine that a holiday would turn out to be sending his brother off.

A soccer player, a tall and funny guy, a police officer, our dear friend. Gone, just like that. At the age of 20.

Even though we haven't been in contact for a long long time, but i cannot believe that i actually lost a friend just like that.
I can't believe how fragile our lives are. This moment you might be smiling, but the very next moment you might be gone.

To my dear friend Malik,

May you rest in peace,
Pray that you will watch over your dad and keep him in good health.
You'll good deeds will be remembered forever by whoever that once received your help.

it's been so so so long since i got some retail therapy !

haa! so happy after i went shopping ytd.

Slept at 6.30AM cos i was struggling with RMT presentation and FYP. had to skip Adrain's house warming, poor baby had to travel there alone. =X haha. and i continue sleeping till 2.30pm.

Baby came to pick me up at abt 4plus and we headed to FAR EAST to look for the rest (Xiwen, Nabila, Emily, ZJ, Amy and YY) Shopped arnd for while baby and i headed for Wisma.

Had dinner at Waraku, was famished and the walk from Wisma to Hereen was -____-" (sing: "so far away~~~")

baby didn't managed to get his TOPMAN coat, but instead bought a LEVIS jeans. LOL.
i'm gonna bring him to Lionel's Place to do his hair, cant wait to see his new haircut and hair color! :D

Headed back to his place and zonked out till this morning, here i am sitting in the GYM, trying to rewrite my FYP case study. Why can't i figure out how to apply the case to my research? Argh. i hate it. Mental blocks.

Common test is round the corner and i totally have no idea what's with REI, REF and BQC. F*Ck! I'm so clueless of what's going on and i'm really very worried. God can't save me this time round.

No matter how hard i try to control my diet, my weight doesn't seems to drop, in fact it's still increasing. I've been training but it didnt seems to be effective as well. Guess it's just all not enough!!

I can continue whining on and on, but i've got to get back to writing FYP now. :(

High School Musical 3 Senior Year

Finally went shopping!

was supposed to meet EmilyC, Xiang, Cyn & Peishi at 2pm for some Style Wedding Fashion Show but i was late! lol. so i missed it. blahh.

the worst thing was my shoe gave me problems! so in the end i had to shop for a new pair to wear. zzzz

it was a shopping spree for birthday gift i guess, October is a killer! So many birthday babies!!

Headed to Jasmine's 21,sat down with the usual and starting gossiping. LOL, Liyanna Sue, yujing, john was alrdy there when we reached.

After the party we headed to Cine to catch a movie!

I've not watch high school musical 1 , but i watched half of high school musical 2 but i fell asleep so i dont really know what's going on. Lol! but Enjoyed the songs and dance. Totally love their dance.

Cycling to JP

12th October 2008- Cycling to Jurong Point

Baby came over that day to surprise me, i was like still sleeping and he just waited patiently for me to wake up. Watched Japan hour again, yes im so exicited over every week's japan hour. LOL.

Slacked the whole day doing nothing. Then feeling so bored, we decided to cycle to Jurong Point.

and so i ~~secretly stole my brother's bicycle~~ borrowed his bicyle.. but we had to pump the tyres before we set for the "long journey"

so here we are at the Petrol Station. LOL.

the bicycle didn't have a backseat, so i had to stand all the way.. it was kinda scary @ first because it's been donkey years since i get to be on the bicycle. Baby hadn't ride for godzilla years too. HAHA! so at first he abit "buey steady" lols! so funny and so cute! but he eventually got the hang again and so we had fun!
i totally cant rem what was our agenda when we got to JP but nonetheless i had fun throughout the journey. headed to Sakae for dinner again, ya as usual i know. LOL.

should we sign up for the sakae card? it's 12% rebate, but the usual DBS/POSB alrdy have 10% rebate. Does signing up the Sakae member help me save more ? What if i sign up and i stopped eating sakae? hmmm...

It's been so long since i thought about it and finally i've decided.

I've officially left Magnum Force Cheerleading.
It was hard bringing it up to the committee but i still had to do it.

the moment i got into baby's car after training, i asked for a hug. i just felt so upset and i broke down after holding those tears for so long. yea the usual missdrama feeling oh-so-emotional. I don't like the feeling of leaving, dont't like the feeling of parting. Especially is something that is once so important to me. Magnum is almost equavilent to my Ngee Ann Poly Life, my everyday hangout place, even during hols. I think i spend more time at the sports deck then in the classroom on average.

Magnum is where i started Cheer and where i started to fell in love with this sports.
Magnum is where i started my first cheer competiton, where i tried to fly so high up in the air, where i am being tossed arnd, where i fell, where i cry, where i stretch.....ect....

Magnum taught me how to be a cheerleader, trained me to be a flyer, nuture me as a leader.

there are just so much so much that i had gained from Magnum that i just simply cannot list out all. yes there are many other things that i lost along the way, but i guess that's life.

i couldn't bear to part with the sports deck, the clubhouse, my team but i guess it's the right choice for me. It's time for me to explore the other aspect of life.

I would like to continue cheering, continue till unknown years..
i wish to achieve more stuff,
i just don't want to lose touch.

but now, i just want to enjoy my mini break without cheer in my life ( i tell you, i know it's gonna be damn boring) as for other things i shall decide later.

When i told the comm that today is my last day at training, they didnt look surprise, guess they all expected it cos i was rather inactive in training recently.
Told some of the juniors that i'll be leaving the team alr, but i do hope that they will do well for the sports, for themselves and for Magnum Force.

As much as i would love to pop by trianing to see you guys train( and obviously to still feel part of "once a magnum cheerleader") I don't think it would be nice for me to disturb you guys during training, as it would make the comm in difficult position so i guess i'll have to wait till after nationals to be able to pop by the training ground to see you guys train.. and im so gonna miss trainings at the sports deck, im goddamn serious.

well, but whoever who want's to date me out can just give me a ring. :D :D we can always meet outside training ground!

Good luck to the comms, i believe you guys can make Magnum a even better place for people to gather and train in.

dongmei, i know you will miss me damn alot. and i know we will still meet up often, you'll be the next wonder female base, i promise i will shout your name out loud during cheerobics! to cheer for you!

hweepeng, i will really miss seeing your happy face at training ground, you're the "forever laughter" in the team. though we didnt spend alot of time together, but i had fun with you during Trg camp ( despite the short period of time we spent)
and yes yes, i know i keep correcting your butt haa! but hopefully whatever that i had shared with you helped you a weeny bit in your cheer. :) work hard!

Dennis, see nobody will scold you alrdy, i know you are so damn happy you ass! but really, curb your temper and work your ass, im sure you will achieve what you set out to!

Sue, my bus buddy for so long, yes yes, i know ever since i have MR BF i stopped taking bus with you all, and i know i am deeply missed by you and ryan. haha! it's not easy for you all these years, but you strive and endure through! and viola, you're our survivor! I miss our year 1 days.. where there was nothing but just innocent people cheering. All the best bus buddy, BBQ soon okay? LOL.

JayJay: would you please stop laughing at my post? it's not even abit funny can? And i'm not your motivation. you have to motivate yourself. hopefully i can see some tosses by you during cheerobics. you will improve if you put in the effort. :)

There are so many things to say and so many people that i can't bear to leave but since i have decided i shall move on.

But i'll always remember Magnum Force Cheerleading Team, and i shall always remember that i was a Magnum Cheerleader.

Wedding

9th October 2008, Thursday.

Attended baby's Navy's Friend's Wedding at Mandarin Oriental. Military style wedding. woohoo. awesome!

the food was. FANTASTIC!
expensive too.
the wedding car was a Mercedes-Benz convertible. Damn cool i tell you. The groom drove the car with the wife, unlike the norm kinda wedding where you have a chauffeur.
i guess baby had fun catching up with his old mates. Those that he spend his 2 years of NS life with, through thick and thin, bathe together, eat together and "kena tekan" together. LOL.

One of his buddy bought her wife along, a pretty nice lady that i spend chit chatting away the whole night. Talked about YOGA lols! she's into Hot yoga and she said it's really very effective when it comes to losing weight. Btw, She's only 23 and she's married. *envious* haha!

Well, i guess i should sign up for Hot yoga these days. Steam all the fats and force it to crawl out of my hips and thighs! LOL.

Drank like 3 glasses of red wine, was okay all the way till when baby was parking his car @ the carpark, i suddenly felt the urge to puke. I had no idea why but i can't even stand up straight after that. Felt a weird feeling within my tummy and chest area. Felt so uncomfortable that baby had to carry me to the lift and back home.

I only felt better after i had a hot shower after reaching baby's place.

I wonder what kinda reaction happen within that short period of time. It's not drunk but it's some kinda werid stuff reacting in my body. Anyone encounter that before?

SINGAPORE, Sept 29, 2008 (AFP) - Ferrari world title contender Felipe Massa had a disastrous Singapore Grand Prix Sunday but refused to blame the mechanic who ruined his race.

The Brazilian, ahead of rival Lewis Hamilton at the time after 15 laps, was given the green light to leave the pits but the fuel hose was still attached as he accelerated away, spraying petrol and knocking over one of the pit crew.
Massa ended up sitting in his Ferrari at the end of the pit lane as the crew frantically ran after him and managed to pull the hose free.
But he was given a drive-through penalty for almost hitting another car as he drove away and rejoined in 18th place, ending any hope he had of making the points.
Despite the disaster, he was philosophical.
"We could have finished first and second and it could have been different," he said as he slipped seven points behind Hamilton in the drivers' standings with three races left after the Briton finished third.
"It is hard to deal with losing in this fashion a race that was within our grasp with a car that was just the way I wanted it.
"But things can change in a moment and that's what happened today.
"We are all human beings, everyone makes mistakes. I am not the sort of person who goes to a guy and fights with him.
"So I went to the guy and gave him even more motivation because we need him and we need everybody together for the last three races of the season."
It was a race to forget for Ferrari with defending world champion Kimi Raikkonen failing to finish after ramming his car into the barriers with just four laps left when he was fifth.
"A black day, there's little else to day. We are very disappointed but that doesn't mean we are downtrodden," Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali told reporters, brushing aside suggestions the mechanic would be reprimanded.
"You try to be quick, try to find the right slot for the car to be released," he said.
"It is a difficult moment. We have to have a lot of respect for these guys, who are not top drivers but are part of us."
David Coulthard in a Red Bull had a similar pit-stop blunder with his fuel hose also left on and a mechanic hurt, although his crew resolved the issue quickly.
